Jamie is a recognised subject matter expert on the Finance function, with a career that includes the Big Four (PwC and Deloitte) and boutique consultancies. He has authored a range of whitepapers, and contributed to publications on Finance transformation, including one on effective control published by the Australian National Audit Office. In the past three (3) years Jamie has led consulting engagements focused on optimising Finance operations at 17 of the ASX200, and a range of other similar sized multi-nationals or private companies. Jamie is a Director of optim2, a consultancy focused solely on optimising Finance operations, and the agenda of the CFO.
Malcolm, a Chartered Accountant, is an accomplished finance professional who combines consulting expertise with CFO experience, and polished management and communications skills. His background includes a Big Four accounting firm, an international consulting company and finance management in large international and Australian companies. He has authored four thought leadership papers about the evolving role of the CFO, published by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and KPMG, and of a number of other published articles. Malcolm runs his own consulting and training business specialising in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of business performance management, finance-business processes and finance-business partnering.
John is a credit risk and credit management professional with almost 20 years of experience gained in major global institutions including Deloitte, HSBC, Barclays and GE. John is a specialist in financial due diligence, the management of banking relationships, and a proven receivables management turnaround practitioner. In 2009 John established his own risk consultancy and identifies his firm beliefs in the importance of clear processes and strong operating rhythms as the basic principles for his work.
Nicola has significant experience in the delivery of Professional Services, gained both in the Big Four (Deloitte and Ernst & Young) and boutique consultancies. Nicola has built a strong track record in the provision of services to clients in areas such as Accounting and Finance operations, Shared Services, process redesign, financial governance and Finance optimisation. She is an expert in Finance process better practice, and routinely delivers engagements focused on "best in class" Finance and improving Finance process. Nicola is a Director of optim2, a consultancy focused solely on optimising Finance operations, and the agenda of the CFO.
Anthony, a FCPA, is an accomplished Finance and Commercial professional with over 20 years experience gained in the FMCG, Manufacturing and Telecommunications industries for some of the major top ASX200, including Pacific Brands, Singtel Optus and Telstra. Anthony has a strong track record in cost reduction programs, organisational restructuring, shared services, internal consulting, risk management and assurance and business improvement strategies. He has held a number of voluntary positions with CPA Australia including Chair of the NSW Corporate Committee, Corporate Sector Advisory board, Chair of Corporate Sustainability Forum and contributed to the initial launch of the Good Practice Guide. Anthony is currently a Senior Manager, Business Performance and Compliance at Telstra.
